Loyalty & Rewards: Voiding Coupons

Follow this guide to learn how to void redeemed coupons, e.g. if you want to issue a replacement coupon code for a customer.

Note: Any variable discount coupon redeemed through the slider widget that remains unused after 24 hours will be automatically voided.

 

The below guide provides instructions for both our Loyalty Classic and Loyalty 2.0 experience. We are migrating customers to Loyalty 2.0 throughout the coming months. If you're unsure which version you are on now, please first navigate here.

How To Void Coupons - Loyalty Classic

  1. Go to Customers
  2. Select the customer you'd like to edit
  3. In the Activities section, click the Rewards tab
  4. Find the coupon you would like to void and click the X button

    The points used to redeem the voided coupon will be credited back to the customer's account. For example, if they spent 500 points to redeem the coupon, 500 points will be credited back to their account.

    If you want to remove the points, you can do so by using the Points Adjustment feature under the Loyalty & Rewards section on the same page.

How To Void Coupons - Loyalty 2.0

  1. Go to Customers
  2. Select the customer you'd like to edit
  3. In the Activities section, click the Rewards tab
  4. Find the coupon you would like to void and click the X button
